How Generation H2O collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you schedule a water test, request financing approval, or use our services.

Last Updated: September 17, 2026

Your Privacy

1.Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to schedule your free water test, provide a quote, process financing, and deliver and service your system. This includes:
  • Contact information — name, email address, phone number, and service address.
  • Property details — number of bathrooms, water source (city or well), and plumbing notes relevant to your system.
  • Water test results — the readings taken during your on-site test.
  • Financing information — when you apply for financing, the lender collects details such as your Social Security number, income, and employment information to evaluate credit approval (see Section 4).
  • Communications — records of your calls, texts, emails, and survey responses so we can serve you better.

2.How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: schedule and perform your free water test; prepare and deliver your quote; install and service your system; process financing applications; communicate with you about appointments and your system; provide warranty and guarantee support; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3.Water Test & Survey Data

Information you provide through our water assessment survey (such as your water problems, household size, and how soon you'd like it resolved) is used to tailor our recommendations and prepare your quote. Your on-site test results are retained with your service record so we can support any guarantee or warranty claims.

4.Financing & Credit Approval (AP2)

If you choose to finance your system, your financing application is submitted to a third-party lender. The lender uses an automated approval process ("AP2") to evaluate your creditworthiness, which includes obtaining your credit report and verifying the information you provide. Generation H2O does not make financing decisions and is not the lender. The lender's privacy policy governs how your financing data is collected, used, and shared, and we encourage you to review it. We transmit only the information necessary to process your application and do not store sensitive financing details (such as your full Social Security number) beyond what is needed to facilitate the process.

5.How We Share Information

We share your information only as needed to provide our services: with our financing partner when you apply for credit; with our technicians and installers to perform and service your system; with manufacturers for warranty registration; and with service providers who help us run our business (such as scheduling or communications tools), under agreements that require them to protect your information. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.

6.Cookies & Website Analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to improve your experience. These may include analytics tools that collect aggregate, non-identifying data. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some site functionality.

7.Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.

8.Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our services, support warranty and guarantee claims, and comply with legal and accounting requirements. When your information is no longer needed, we delete it or render it unidentifiable, subject to any legal retention obligations.

9.Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your information (subject to legal exceptions); opt out of marketing communications; and, in some cases, limit the use of sensitive personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11.

10.Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

11.Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, contact us at (559) 840-0883, Monday–Saturday, 9AM–5PM (closed Sunday), or schedule a free water test and we will assist you in person.

12.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with the updated date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
